Assuming no significant leakage.
Rose gold is very flattering to warmer diamonds, especially if the prongs are also rose gold. With a G color, you really can't go wrong with any metal! The richer metals like rose and yellow gold contrast with the center diamond, and make them look whiter.
However, I would strongly suggest going with a slightly larger shank, especially if you are having diamonds in the shank. 1.5mm is very delicate, and 1.8mm would be the very minimum width I'd suggest to you. What size is your diamond?
I totally agree on the shank having to be wider. A .72 is not that small and even if you have tiny hands, you want a shank that will hold up every day. I think the entire setting in rose would look wonderful and I would also increase the shank to a minimum of 1.8. Alternatively, you can have a shank tapered in where it joins the prongs holding the stone to make the stone look larger. I am not one who likes the look of a wide shank, I do not find it proportional say over 2-2.2 but you would be perfectly fine with 1.8. 1.5 is way too fragile for daily wear.
I definitely wanted rose gold prongs but James Allen wouldn’t do it for me because they said the diamond would fall out with the rose gold prints being weakerI was disappointed but I figured white gold would look nice too! My diamond is only .72! I was looking at 1.8mm too but I have very tiny hands so I figured something a little larger would take away from the diamond, especially being a .72. But I was thinking about it before and might possibly look into it again! Thanks

That doesn't make any sense as they make lots of rings with rose gold prongs. Why this one would loose as stone but all those others wouldn't is beyond me.
Lol, I don’t know man. That’s just what they told me. You can call them and ask!
