I am 25, and I know my place when I''m at home. If my mom needs me to do anything, I help her. No and, ifs, or buts. She would not ask unless she really needs help, and for me to put her off to the point of begging, that''s just wrong! If you have to beg for her to do something for you, then she''s not respecting you. And before you mention anything about me being raised old-fashioned, I''d like to say that I am second generation ABC, and a complete twinkie in all other ways. Kids today have no respect for family structure, and it''s a shame.

I don''t need to wait until I have kids. I helped raise my brother and sister(15 &17), and they''re almost like my own kids. (mom''s a single parent) If they ever treated my mom like that, I''d slap them to oblivion!
