Hi all! It''s been a while, hasn''t it? About a year, actually.
I haven''t bought one bauble since I last posted here, which makes me think my jewelry insanity is from PS enabling. Hmmm.
I''ve spent a lot of my time obsessing about the presidential primaries and election. What time I used to spend on PS I''ve been spending on HuffPo, Politico, and The Daily Beast. And agonizing about the financial state of the Union (and of my personal investment account, too.
)
I quit smoking a year ago last August, and haven''t had one since. Yay!!! I''ve spent much too much time in the dentist''s chair Boo Hoo
WARNING: Girls: Don''t neglect your teeth, and remember to floss!!!
Best news of all: I adopted "Vader" (as in ''Darth'') Isn''t he handsome? He''s huge, mostly German Shepherd, and is an absolute cupcake. Sweet as can be. He''s supposed to be about five years old, although his graying muzzle suggests he''s older. He''s gentle and well mannered, obviously from a loving home. (He was what they are now calling "foreclosure dogs"
)
Widget liked him a lot better when she met him at the shelter. She was less pleased when I brought him home with us! But she''s adjusting
.
Here he is: (notice his mysterious, wolf-like amber eyes!)
