    OK ... I get it.

For the EC that I will be buying, I can get all the specs, stats, photos, blow-ups, ASETs, Ideal Scopes, Sarins, etc., that I want. Nothing will replace actually SEEING the diamond. Got it! [IMG]

Since I personally won''t physically see the stone until after I have purchased it, and I''ve been working with Whiteflash to locate what I think I want (!), who at WF is best to ''see'' the diamond for me and talk me through the advantages and disadvantages?

Have you yourself done so with these knowledgable experts?

    Thanks for your referals.

Ask for Brian (the cutter) to look at it.

Yes, but she still needs a salesperson to help her! There are many good ones. I have had good service from Jamie and Katie. I think Bob is a gemologist, though, if you want a salesperson with that qualification.

But that's not what she asked for, at least that's not the way I took it. She asked,

"who at WF is best to 'see' the diamond for me and talk me through the advantages and disadvantages"

That sounds like she's asking "who will eyeball it for me". No?

    Thanks.

Yes, I neeed the name(s) of eye-ballers. [IMG]

Brian it is, then. (... btw, what about John P.?)

And yes, I have been working with Jamie also ... very responsive.

    Lastly ... ''she'' is a ''he'' -- last I checked ... [IMG]

John is great, but I don''t know how much "eyeballing" he does. And no offense to him, but it''s not going to get any better than Brian. [IMG]

I also remember Katie at saying that Bob is an EC nut, so he might be a good second opinion after Brian..

Amazing how we transitioned from ''eyes'' to ''whips''! That''s what I love about this forum ... ya never know in which direction the conversation will go (kinda like my search for a diamond!)

Jamie is definitely a girl, unless they have hired a second Jamie! [IMG] I have talked to her on the phone before!

I thought the ''she'' in the above refered to me, the original poster -- and my wife SWEARS I am a ''he''! [IMG] (P.S.: She''s absolutely correct!)

Oh dear, first I try to change your G rated thread to at least R, if not X, then I refer to you as the wrong gender. I''m affraid I probably haven''t made a very good impression. [IMG]

    Sorry about that![IMG] [IMG]

No sorry needed (as long as we get back to the X rating!) [IMG]

You are cute! (... that''s if you are a ''she''!) [IMG]
