I want a single strand (maybe with a dangly enhancer??) diamonds by the yard-like necklace about 15" long in yellow gold but with round and marquis citrines instead of the diamonds. I

I love the large square chain in this one and the bezels round/marquis combo. I've gone to the designer of this one but she won't customize it with citrines so I need to look elsewhere for an 'inspired by' version. I want citrines to match up with some bezeled citrine earrings that I recently bought see below.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions :D

HI:

In general, custom work is costly and this type of "yard" piece would be no expection. Would you consider buying something premade? I know a few designers who make colored stone jewellery in "yard" styles that might be of interest.

Yes please. If I could find anything close off the shelf- that would be great. :)

If I put my thinking cap on more will brands come to light, but off the top of my head I'll say: Marco Bicego and Valente Milano.

Thanks Sharon. I'm loving the designs but not the prices.... as these are just citrines I'd rather not spend mega money on them.

For the perfect necklace I'd go for a 1000-2000.

The first necklace is handcrafted, so a lot of the price is actually labour. Throw in a reasonable amount of gold (since it is so long) and the piece will be expensive, even if the citrines themselves are not.

Hi,

Try ylang ylang at ylang23.com or etsy.com.

They may have something.

Google "citrine station necklace" and check out the images that are available. You may be able to find something quite reasonable that way.

I did that first before posting the question but didn't find anything suitable. Hence this tread......
