Ok guys! I''ve been totally slacking at keeping up with the shoe requests because school and Thanksgiving were kind of crazy busy, and I''m at that point where I''m going to have to start thinking about finals...

Material; any?
Season of wedding July

Anything you don''t want: ?? not really

26.gif

Thank you !!! any ideas will be great!

typo - i meant to say under $75 IF possible...

Yay!! I''m leaning toward wearing the blue and green flowered Naughty Monkey shoes that (I think) both you and I have. I haven''t actually worn mine yet, so they''re still in great shape! However, I''m always on the lookout for fun shoes, I have no problem whatsoever with being a ten-shoe bride
31.gif
(I''ll leave it to you all to decide whether I mean ten shoes...or ten pairs, hehe).

So,here''s my list:

Color: not white, ivory, or black. everything else is fair game, multicolored is always good.
Size: 7, sometimes 7 1/2 depending on the manufacturer
Heel height: probably not more than 3 inches, although I''d make an exception for the right shoes. in the 2"s is best. no flats.
Heel style (wedge, thicker heel, stiletto): I don''t like wedges much, and stilettos should be within reason (i.e. not actually usable as a weapon)
Style of shoe (open toe, close toe): anything works, as long as it''s fun, but I''d go for pumps over sandals, and peep-toe over closed toe.
Material: any
Season of wedding: fall (mid-October)
Dress: Maggie Sottero Jorie, which is a slim a-line with an appliqued lace overlay, scalloped on the bottom edge. color is diamond white.
Anything you don''t want: flats, boots, stripper shoes
Anything you do want: the "wow" factor. the less like "bridal shoes" they look, the better
Preferred brands: no preference, though I do love Pucci
Budget: rules out my Puccis. no dollar amount, but think of a "grad student with lots of loans" type budget

Ohhh, I''m excited to see if you come up with anything fun!!!! {And good luck on your finals!

Wow, if you could find this you would officially be "the goddess."

Color: soft peridot green
Size: 7 or 7-1/2, wide width
Heel height: 1 to 1-3/4 inches.
Heel style (wedge, thicker heel, stiletto): Prefer a thicker heel; need to walk on grass and dirt paths
Style of shoe (open toe, close toe): closed toe
Material: I'm open on this. Probably fabric (silk?)
Season of wedding: summer/fall (last day of summer Sept. 19)
Dress: Watters 1053B, diamond white silk shantung
Anything you don't want: flats, mules, green that is not the right shade. Think peridot birthstone.
Anything you do want: straps to hold my feet in securely
Preferred brands: none
Budget: Around $150 or less

Oooh I'm still on the prowl for shoes for me AND for my bridesmaids so here are my two requests:

Color: Anything BUT plain 'ole white. Bonus points for pink
Size: 6 or 6.5 depending
Heel height: the higher the better
2.gif

Heel style (wedge, thicker heel, stiletto): stiletto
Style of shoe (open toe, close toe): love, love, love peep toes but am open to others
Material: any
Season of wedding: winter in the Midwest. brrrrrrrrr
Dress: Maggie Sottero Coco
Anything you don't want
Anything you do want: bonus points for anything sparkly
9.gif

Preferred brands: I'm a fool for Louboutins, so bonus points if you can find a pair (even on ebay) that won't cost me a fortune
Budget: $500-600 but is negotiable, and lord knows I love a deal

Color: pink, black, or any combo of pink/black/white/cream
Size: multiple. one with a 5-5.5, 2 with 6.5, one with 7-7.5
Heel height: the higher the better
Heel style (wedge, thicker heel, stiletto): stiletto
Style of shoe (open toe, close toe): any
Material: any
Season of wedding: winter in Midwest. brrrrrrrrr
Dress: black strapless, knee-length, bubble hem
Anything you don't want
Anything you do want
Preferred brands
Budget: preferred under $100

Blondebunny

I''ve been meaning to share these with you, because I know how you love the sparkly stuff, but you might kill me because they have a really thin heel:

They come in silver, pink, orange, gold, blue and black And they either have sequins or glitter on them I''ve been lusting after the silver ones forever now, but I didn''t know they had blue!

Same as above only at Piperlime for $59.99 (in silver)

Ok, I love the pairs you posted. I''m going to go ahead and see what I can find for you.

A little sparkly $126

A lot sparkly $145(but they would be so amazing with that dress you posted!)

More sequins (similar to my purple shoes!)

Covered in sequins

Sandals with rhinestones! (and a stacked heel)

Love these! More Rhinestones

So...where did you find that purple shoe?
31.gif

And let me know if you like any of these.

Oooh oooh me too! I am so clueless when it comes to shoes seeing as how I wear sneakers to work everyday. You always find the most GORGEOUS shoes Freke!

Color - I would love a dark red! I have always had a thing for The Wizard of OZ and thought it would be fun to wear some cute red shoes with my dress. Sparkly maybe.. but only if it''s tasteful and doesn''t look cheap.

Size - 10. Yes, I know, I have giant tootsies!

Heel height - Preferably not too tall. Like I said, I wear sneakers every day and on the weekends I rarely wear heels... I CAN walk in them, but I don''t feel completely comfortable doing so in anything higher than 2 inches or so... And I wanna be comfy on my wedding day!

Heel style (wedge, thicker heel, stiletto) - Probably either a thicker heel or a wedge. Our venue has old brick floors and big gaps and I wore heels there this past weekend for dinner and they were getting stuck in the brick like nobody''s business.

Style of shoe (open toe, close toe) - Not picky.

Material - Not picky

Season of wedding - June 26th in California.

Dress - Maggie Sottero Symphony. I will post a pic...

Anything you don''t want - Ummm... not really. I have faith in you to pick cute shoes!

Anything you do want - Maybe a cute little touch, like a flower or something.

Preferred brands - ???

Budget - Probably under 100

What color blue do you want?

Light Metallic blue peep/slingbacks I actually own these, and they are pretty dang comfortable.

Random wedges, but they''d be comfortable

I noticed that you posted BCBGirls and the Naturalizer Prissys in the other thread. I find BCBGirls very comfortable. Naturalizers are comfortable up to a point. I have the Prissy in silver and I like the heel height a lot, but they rubbed a blister on both of my baby toes. They''ve been around for a while, so you might be able to get a pair for pretty cheap, and try them out. Maybe another color that you''d wear more often?

Here are some notes: thicker heels and wedges will be more comfortable because they give the foot more support. Dyeable shoes are made to be dyeable and from what I can tell, little else. I have tried on many different pairs of them, and they are uncomfortable. Touch-Ups are the worst, but I wouldn''t try Coloriffics or Dyeables either. Anything that has a strap around the ankle, straps on the vamp, straps around the back of your foot, will all be more supportive and in the end comfortable.

Of course, the lower the heel, the more comfortable as well. My favorite heel height for comfort would have to be about 2.5 inches to 3.

Also, a couple things I''ve learned about adding things to shoes would be to get ball of the foot pads--they help so so so much. I''m prone to blister on my heel, so I add those as well.

Right now I think that aren''t a lot of white or blue dressy shoes out there. So it might be best to try and wait before buying some shoes. Did you need them for a fitting?

Yah, Freke's back

I don't have a shoe request. I just wanted to pop in to say

. I know you've been posting here and there, but the fact you're starting a thread means you'll be hanging out in BWW for a while

So what if I found some Pucci-esque shoes....

Do you have any preferred colors?

I haven''t worn the blue and greens either! I don''t want to get them dirty!

BTW, I''m going to enjoy this...

Partially black but mostly pink, purple and blue...Peeps Have these...in a different color.

Pointy toe red/orange paisley heels

Blue green and purple w/ stacked wood heel

Coral, red, brown and avocado green peep (I have these and they don''t feel like 3.5 inches. Seriously.

Navy blue with little flowers I have these too and they are pretty dang comfy...

Almost affordable Puccis...

These Puccis are almost affordable too!!!

Almost affordable Bettye Mullers...Pucci-esque

Oh how I love the Pucci...

I think I have to give up for the night and do some homework. But I will be back tomorrow (or maybe later, if I can be productive for a while).

And guys, if I post anything you absolutely hate, don''t be afraid to tell me. Most of the time I feel like I''m looking for a needle in a haystack, and more guidance is a great great thing!

Hey Pocahontas! Good to see you! Hopefully I''ll be sticking around for a bit, I have been kind of laying low recently. Too much stuff going on lately, so I''ve been lurking instead of posting. How are you doin''? How''s wedding planning treating you?

Color: darker purple (maybe plum or eggplant?), silver, or ivory
Size: 5-5.5
Heel height: 5" (this is what I think will be the best compromise between tall as possible and not stripper shoes)
Heel style: thicker heel or stiletto, but could be a wedge if it''s delicate-looking
Style of shoe: open-toe
Material: any
Season of wedding: summer (June 20)
Dress: Watters 7094B
Anything you don''t want: no straps that are too stiff/skinny ''cause they tend to cut into my feet
Preferred brands: Aldo has been good to my feet lately, but I''m open to anything!
Budget: under $100

Pic of my dress:

Frekechild - thank you !

I REALLY LIKE THESE - do you think they would match with my dress? I like them a lot.
and you said they are comfy??? Light Metallic blue peep/slingbacks I actually own these, and they are pretty dang comfortable.

I DONT LIKE THESE - Random wedges, but they''d be comfortable

Did you need them for a fitting? I do need them for a fitting, my dress should be coming in sometime in February.
The wedding is July 11 - when do i go for my first fitting? do you know? i''ll need them for that.
Should I get these that i like or wait??? i do them a lot.

_______________________________

Also FrekeChild. I am planning on carrying red roses - will the blue still look ok? i love the idea of blue shoes as its different. but i could do white or silver if you think the blue will class with my flowers.

I HAVE NO CLUE! LOL

Freke, you are so awesome for offering to do this! I have been looking for shoes all over, but haven''t found anything that is just right yet.
33.gif

Color- probably silver, dark pink (more rose, not hot pink), dark olive green
Size - 9
Heel height - flat. As in basically no heel whatsoever. I know this will suck in terms of support, but FI is about 4 inches shorter, so heels will just exaggerate the difference.
Heel style (wedge, thicker heel, stiletto)- none
Style of shoe (open toe, close toe) - no preference, but this is a June wedding so open toe would be okay
Material - no preference
Season of wedding - summer
Dress - wearing my mom''s dress. it''s ivory and pretty simple, not a lot of beading, etc.
Anything you don''t want - not really
Anything you do want - no particular things i''m looking for right now
Preferred brands - none
Budget - I''m guessing that about 200 is going to be my max, but under that would be great.

Thank you so much!!!
