Love Ann Taylor. I’ve bought a few items from Loft, as well. I feel they fit my body well while still looking chic. I want to dress appropriately for my age (45) but still feel cute and sexy on a date with hubby. Ann Taylor has nice options for both
I don’t buy “designer clothes” as they are very expensive here but I guess I like the style of classic tailoring maybe like Hugo Boss or Max Mara? Most of my wardrobe is either thrifted from Vinnies or straight up H&M
I'm not really that faithful to brands, I just buy whatever looks good. However I have a bunch of shanghai tang, and more than a few pieces of hugo boss. They both fit really well.
I don't have brands I buy exclusively. But I do have a uniform of sorts.
I love wearing colorful leggings with tunics (or short dresses) and OTK flat boots in the cooler weather. But not loyal to any specific brand per se.
In the warmer months I wear dresses with comfortable flats. I like fun dresses more in the 60s retro mod style than any other. Easy and comfortable and IMO stylish too.
But my main requirement is and always will be comfort and function first.
My clothes are whimsical and bring me joy when I wear them.
I let myself be me and dress accordingly.
Clothes - 1. Carolina Herrera 2. Armani. 3. D&G. 4. Versace - in that order.
For shoes - Ferragamo, Hobbs and Stuart Weitzman
Bags - Tods, The Row
Lingerie - Agent Provocateur
These are my favorites and I do have something from each of these designers. But now ask me what I actually WEAR 99% of my life....
Mrs-B's staple wardrobe -
Denim jeans or some form of cord jeans, plus sleeveless t-shirt with cashmere cardigan or sweater, and coat in winter. Cashmere gloves. Cashmere scarf - any brand.
Shorts and t-shirts or sun dress in summer - any brand.
Any variation of workout clothes - summer OR winter - any brand.
As my mother always said - so long as I look neat, clean and well paid for - it'll do. I'll add - so long as it fits well and the colors are flattering and the fibers are natural (I don't like synthetics). But apart from that - we're good to go!
I love looking at etro but the clothes don’t work on me. Have a quilted purse from them that I love esp bc no one here recognizes the brand so it’s incognito
