Looks like Neil Sedaka has a type.

@1ofakind What type? I don’t get it, lol.

Did someone say Lynyrd Skynyrd yet?

Aye...my autocorrect was going nuts on that...lol

@Dandi I’m not sure where this performance was. I just remembered that John Oates had worked with them and pulled this clip from YouTube.

Definitely see John Fogerty if you have a chance. Great show!!

And he still knows all the words.

Oh he’s checking out some booty at 2:30. Neil...you dirty rascal, lol.

Oh, I see, on the “Calendar Girls” video. :lol-2: Too funny!

HI:

I'll be the only person here who dislikes the Eagles. Hotel California = Nausea.

That's it!

cheers--Sharon

Uh-oh. I think there’s a mini Eagles fan club here on PS! :naughty::lol:

Haha after playing it over and over I think my DH might agree with you. But to be fair he did like them a lot until I abused my playing privileges of the same band over and over and over.

How can one not love this piece? It's a masterpiece.

So many of the great artists and bands listed really bring me back...
My faves in no particular order:
Bob Seger (ok, he’s my fave, awesome concerts)
Billy Joel (best in concert!)
Pink Floyd (crazy college days)
The Who (saw their not-so-‘last’ concert at Shea stadium NYC)

Funny, our favorite SiriusXM channels are the 70’s classic rock stations.

I had a super bizarro dream involving Bob Seger, John Goodman from “Roseanne”, and the InterGem shows a few nights ago!:lol:

Great topic! Live music is one of my favorite things and I'm missing it terribly. My last live show was the Eagles with a full orchestra in Atlanta in January, which was my gift to DH for Christmas. I have seen SO MANY of the bands/artists mentioned by PP (most more than once)! Primus, Black Sabbath, Bee Gees, Def Lep, Bruce, the Stones, Billy Joel, Lionel Richie, NIN, Quiet Riot, Cheap Trick (@Karl_K , dare I suggest the most underrated US Rock Band ever?!?). We hit local live shows all the time and often plan our travel around concerts (at least we used to :(2), despite having different taste in music. I’ve been to more Jimmy Buffett shows than I care to admit thanks to him, but at least they are fun. My taste leans towards rock/metal/punk/alternative, so most of “my shows” are bands that the general population is not familiar with. But my absolute favorite band of all time is Poison. I’ve seen them 50 times in 8 states and have met them all many times. They are the band of my youth, what can I say:kiss2:. I have tickets for 6 Stadium Tour shows this summer...now rescheduled for next year :(2 (fingers crossed the new dates work for me). A newer band that I am digging these days is The Struts out of England, who I was supposed to see tomorrow night :(2. The lack of live music and travel will probably kill me before COVID :cry2:.

I’m with you, the biggest things I’m missing are live music and travel!
