Well I just got notice yesterday that they have scheduled Angello''s third cardiac surgery for 08/16.
He will be having a cardiac cath on 07/20.

So I really need my PS buddies to gather around for support. Thanks.

Maybe she meant "flip flops"?! I am dating mysefl but when I was growing up there no lingerie thongs and flip flops were called thongs. My friend took her two sons to a shoe store to get camp stuff and yelled fromn across the store ..."Boys, come here, you both need thongs for camp!" They turned red and yelled, "Mom, now days people call them FLIP FLOPS!" My friend was humiliated but never did that again!!

Nan, I am truly inspired by your life and strength. There are so many awesome people here and you are up in the ranks!!! Just shows you, too, that very lovely and normal hardworking folks can all worship bling and be very down to earth at the same time!!! I have three sons, I am partial to boys! Give that sweet baby some extra kisses (as I am sure you do) and I will pray for him to only continue to thirve!

diamondfan, when we were kids, we called thongs "snappers." Everyone I knew called them thongs except for my family. I remember arguing with a neighbor about the proper name. I think that we called them snappers because of the "snap" sound that they made when you walked. I love that your friend called out to her sons about getting them "thongs," lol.

Well these "flip flops" or "thongs" are a must in every local household here. 2,4, 6 pairs, at least one or two pairs per person. And here we simply call them "rubber slippers."
