Such a beautiful ring with beautiful sentiment that will live on for many yearsI think the question should be what Pricescoper hasn't named their ring
Would love it if others chimed in because that other thread didn't have that many replies and we have added some new PS members and new PS bling to the PS family...
Meet Bea. Named after my dear grandmother Beatrice (who everyone called Bea) whom I miss so much. She died in 1992 and her ring was the beginning of my love affair with old cuts.
Here is my Bea with my grandmother's photo. The photo on the left is 4 generations. My great grandmother, my grandmother, my mother and me. The photo is fading fast just like the years flying by.

I named a tiny diamond I have the "Tom Cruise". Because it's small and sparkles like his crazy eyes.

Me too. I think of it as naming the diamond. Because the setting can always change.I think of it as naming diamonds, as BEA for example, wouild still be BEA in another settting.
It helps me if others name their diamonds. I will long remember who belongs to whom if there is a name attached.
I don’t think “Mildred” every time I look at my ring, but for ease and clarity’s sake, I can use the name Mildred with other PSers rather than give a long ID like ...2.14, G, etc... And even then most people won’t know which ring I’m referring to!
[may I please change my PS name to “My Two Cents”?!]

I don’t have a name for my diamond. I’m not sure what would be a good name.
Wow! There is something to be said for a F color. Here is Symphonie containing a 2.79 F-VS1 CBI diamond and Trilogie containing 3 CBI diamonds :
2.21 F-SI1 (cut to order in 2014)
.53 F-VS1
.53 F-VS2
The two side stones are within .01mm of each other and have the same Crown and pavilion angles
Here is a Trilogie glamour shot
Here is a photo of the 2.79 diamond taken by John Pollard. Look at that dispersion that he captured in natural lighting
