Who are the "Emerald Cut People?"

I actually got to play with bright ices beautiful ring, too!! It would also be a gorgeous choice!! (I wish I could afford it!!) And I thought of you when Grace posted the new Leon EC ring on Instagram a little while ago that mochiko posted! A preloaded ring would be a great value IMO if you're open to it.IMG_0523.JPG

Hi bright ice! I'm sorry for the thread jack. Obviously selmayvar should be first in line, and it may be out of my price range, but I'd love to know if you're selling your beauty.

Wow, this looks like a very nice contender. I love the depth and table proportions, and the crown. IF clarity is probably overkill, and in this size you'll likely see tint with the I color. But, I'd definitely get an ASET. Don't buy blind.

Thanks @LawmaLlama. So should I ask whomever I end up working with to get the ASET or does it matter? Not sure what is the proper form and don't want to step on anyone's toes.
 
Since Bright Ice's ring is out, you should call up Grace and inquire about the new 3 stone EC and that LM 5 stone

Thanks @KKJohnson, I did that this morning. I like that 5 stone but the center stone is smaller than I wanted. I haven't ruled those out, though.

I'd ask whichever vendor you want to have do the setting to (1) get better pricing, and (2) avoid more haggling with replacing the stone if damaged during the setting process. The vendor should be able to call it in, and may be able to pick up some others based on your requests. Dont be afraid to tell the vendor your exact requirements with some ranges for ratio, depth, clarity, color, crown, etc. For example, I am a stickler for symmetry in EC. Some people are not. I prefer over 1.4 ratio, some people like the more square ratio.
