Holy heck, these ACA’s are amazing! Everything you’ve heard is true! Blindingly bright, super sparkly, almost unreal. 4187617F-38C8-43EB-BE22-0D2F8B6401E1.jpeg
Wonderfully made, excellent finger coverage. (You all said 10 pointers would cover, and they do!) Maybe not quite as low set and comfortable as the Tiffany Embrace, but almost!

I adore the classic basket setting!

Posing with the one carat diamond, because I know you want to know. Personally, I think 10-pointers are too big for this size solitaire, but YMMV.

Look at that fire!

Of course the solitaire wants to show off too…

The only problem is I don’t love it. I feel guilty saying it, these are gorgeous, gorgeous diamonds. I think the shared prong setting just isn’t for me. It’s harder to see in the pictures than in real life, but the scalloped edge of the diamonds is just too swoopy. This is *not* Whiteflash’s fault. It’s just the nature of the setting, and I didn’t know until I tried it on. I should have done more fieldwork before I ordered, but I thought it’s so simple and classic, what could go wrong? Ugh. Online shopping is the best and the worst!

I went to a local jewelry store to compare with this ring, and wow, even with the jewelry store lighting other diamonds do *not* compare. Super ideal is still the way to go. I wish I lived in Huston and could go try everything in person! 7F62A84D-AE28-4E0F-B87F-83F3C8F724CF.jpeg

This is a beautiful & classic ring. Those diamonds are utter perfection.

I'm sorry to hear it's not pushing all your buttons. I hope you can fall in love with it as much as the rest of PS will, but failing that, that there's a good return policy & you can find your dream iteration. Or send it to me. I'll love that swoopyness for both of us!

Okay, I need a pep-talk. This would be my second return to Whiteflash. My first was the Divisi band, utterly charming, but not me. (Too ethereal and delicate!)

This is my social anxiety talking, but please tell me they aren’t going to hate me for returning a second ring!

The new band is certainly beautiful but if you don’t care for it, you don’t care for it. I sincerely doubt they will hate you for returning it! Thanks for the pictures!

Oops -- I didn't read your later post saying you didn't like it. Yes, if you don't care for it, then return it. Bling is a big investment and you want to be happy with it and not have any doubts. (For the record though, I think its a beautiful ring and the size in the photos looks perfect with your solitaire. But the ring is on your finger, so your likes/dislikes matter most!)

Pretty ring!

Like you said, you don’t have the option of trying them on in person so what else can you do but pick the one that looks good to you.

I suppose you could get a bunch of try-on rings from Amazon.

Good luck!

I just love this ring :kiss2:, I know you don’t have it anymore but I wonder if you could describe how it felt between the fingers? Did you find you could feel the beginning of the diamonds when you moved your fingers around? Did you find it stayed in place etc?

I’m so glad Whiteflash were gracious with the return and I hope you find the perfect thing soon.

I felt it was very comfortable, I could only just barely feel the diamonds when I moved my fingers, and I’m sure I would have gotten completely used to it in no time at all. Didn’t seem to have any issues with spinning, but it was *exactly* my size, which I’m sure helped.

I tried at .91 ctw Embrace band with 13 point diamonds at Tiffany’s this afternoon! It was lovely! It might be that the .70 ctw WF ring was just a bit to small carat wise for me. WF makes a 1ctw ring with 14 point diamonds in the exact same style…. I’m tempted! Could third time be the charm??? (I love the Tiffany band, but it’s over 8k, and the WF band is just over 3k, and has bigger and probably better diamonds!)

Just for comparison I tried a 17 point seven stone ring at a local jeweler. I think I prefer the 13 point ring.

Thanks so much for your reply, I hope it’s third time’s the charm!
