I agree that the pendant is very pretty. But it seems like they should put the price on there just like everything else, so that people could decide if they want to order one.Date: 10/8/2006 12:32:03 PM

It obviously has enticed many if you look around and see how many breast cancer pins and livestrong bracelets there are around. Once it becomes cool to wear a charity piece of jewelry all sorts of people will start buying it. What you need is a celebrity to buy one...Date: 10/9/2006 7:20:36 AM

if I could ask candidly - how would you''all feel about buying a piece of jewellery that you know is contributing to a good cause?
Does it ''kill'' the romance? Or would it entice you to buy?

I would just like to say the Whiteflash diamond pendant for Africa - that is sooo very special.
Has anyone posted about this yet? I am sure there could be a link to stories - it has recieved good press in the trade
100% of profits will go to needy causes in Africa.
When I saw the emmy awards release stuff at gIA symposium - I was so impressed with the idea as a way to promote 'develpoment diamonds' and do someting about the old conflict diamonds concept - I started work on designing something - we finished the master pattern last week.
It would entice me too look and consider purchasing a "good cause jewelry" whereas I might not have considered purchasing anything before. Yes, the design still has to be attractive but not necessarily romantic. Even though I haven''t purchased any pieces I''ve looked seriously at good cause jewelry at E-bay, Cartier, and Mikimoto. Let''s put it this way, I still keep looking at Mikimoto''s breast cancer pendant even though I''ve already given her a Mikimoto pendant.Date: 10/9/2006 7:20:36 AM

Big kudos to Whiteflash for their Dreams of Africa pendant. If John Q, is reading this, could you post a photo on a lady's neck to give the pendants some sense of scale? I realize they are small but I can't get 'rapper size (Flava Flav)' bling out of my head.
