Whiteflash Honey Band as a Spacer?

Hi everyone, I've been hesitant about asking this question because I know what I have going on with my set right now is not exactly pleasing to everyone's asthetic (size of stones on bands, bulky solitaire prongs, rings of differing widths and heights), but I figured I'd run it by all of you to avoid wasting money.

I have a mrb, about 8.4mm. We recently got the Whiteflash 1 carat 7 stone to pair with it. I know the stones overpower the solitaire, but I'm still going for it for now. I'm not loving the plain band as a spacer though. I've seen a couple of people (@FancyDiamond and @Kaycee2018 - I hope you don't mind me tagging you) who have used a diamond band as a spacer and I liked that look. I like the Honey band because I think it would look good paired alone with the solitaire or also stacked in between it and the seven stone, but am not sure if that look would just make my set look more off? The other posters had different proportions and I'm not great with visualizing what mine would look like.

What do all of you think? I guess I'm also trying to see if the band will help make the seven stone flow with the solitaire better. Or do you think it's just a bad idea all around given the size of the center stone? If I ordered this I would change the platinum alloy so no returns. I'm attaching a blurry picture of my set for reference. Thank you.20200211_083447.jpg

What if instead you had eg David Klass make you a band that matched your e ring? having it the same width, height and alloy would look great alone or with the 7 stone. Btw, I think the 7 stone and soli look great and you should rock them if you like them together!

Honestly, I think another diamond band will turn your set into a mishmash of sparkle. Your plain spacer separates the diamond elements and lets the eye appreciate them independently.

If you find a plain metal band too pedestrian - what about a coloured stone channel band? Sapphires? Carre rubies?

I think the set in the photo looks amazing as it is!

Thank you =)2.
This is a good idea. I'd be more comfortable working with Whiteflash though. It was very easy to work with them, and their prices are good for the quality you get.

The thing is I'm not sure if I should have the spacer band match more with the e-ring in width and height or should I adjust it a bit so that the transition between the 7 stone and solitaire is less noticeable? Like maybe have a spacer that has a width and height that is somewhere in between the two. However, if I do that none of the rings would ever match and it might look off if I just wear the Honey band with the solitaire and plain band. I'm not even sure they'd make those adjustments. I don't know if I'm making sense.

This was what I was worrying about as well. I was concerned it would just have too much going on.

I totally love this as is!!!

I think your set looks great! I don't think your 7 stone band overpowers your e-ring at all. But if you are wanting a different look, I think a thinner plain band in between that looks more like a spacer vs. a band would be a great option. The Honey band from Whiteflash looks very nice, but it is 2mm wide. My diamond spacer bands are much thinner than that, so the Honey band might not give you the look you are going for. I have a couple diamond spacer bands that I rotate between, so I am not sure which one you are specifically referring to, but I posted pics below. HTH and GL!

Bead set from a local jeweler (I actually have a pair of these). I don't have any detailed info, but they are thinner than the BN (probably around 1.6 mm wide):

Here is the whole mess of them:

I don’t know if this adds to the discussion, but I have a collection spacers from an Etsy shop. They are high quality but plated, so they are an inexpensive way to experiment.
They are very narrow, almost invisible, but just enough to protect the rings from each other. I love to stack with my solitaires, but sometimes the bands overwhelm the main show, so it depends on the look I want to sport on a certain day : )

Did you provide the link to the honey band and I missed it. The link would be nice so we can see what it looks like and we all dont
have to go look it up.

Thank you. Sorry I didn't provide that before.

@Kaycee2018 Thanks for your help. Your sets are all so beautiful! I hope you don't mind that I'm trying to go for that look.

I don't think a thinner spacer will work for me because of the way my prongs are. I think they'll still bump into each other, but I really like how yours all work together.

@Jimmianne Yes, this
does add to the conversation, and it is a really good suggestion. I know I should try experimenting with various options to get a feel for things before making a bigger (for me) purchase. I'm making a feeble attempt at not being impulsive with this decision, so everyone's advice is welcome.
