Hi...This is just my 2 cents on Whiteflash ACA. If you are tired of splitting hairs on finding the perfect H&A, this may enlighten you: I purchased a .523 carat D VS1 ACA round for about $2500.
They can go head to head with an HOF any day. I am not saying one is any better than the other, that decision is in the eye of the beholder! Now that being said, the price for an HOF with the same specifications as the ACA I purchased was quoted at $5200! Do the math. They are both AGS 000''s.
I took my diamond to 3 different high end jewelers (while looking for a setting), all of which sold hearts and arrows diamonds (one jeweler sold HOF''s). The two jewelers that sold the non HOF H&A diamonds had sub-par H&A quality. It was very easy to tell through the H&A scope.
All jewelers, especially the one who sold the HOF''s did not isipute,no buts, and no doubt about it told me that I did very well and have an excellant diamond.

Don''t forget that when you buy an HOF you are paying a super premium price because of all the advertising and middle man. At Whiteflash you are getting it direct.

That being said, I was sceptical of buying a diamond on the internet. However, after dealing with Bob at Whiteflash, I could never buy with more confidece. We talked extensively about there line, he sent many pictures of the diamond, and simply answered any questions I had.

The diamond is as close to perfect as one could want! Try them out, you will be happy!

I have not physically seen any GOG''s or SuperbCerts....I am sure they are excellant, but in comparing my ACA to an HOF....it was a no brainer.

Hpoe this helps

Great to hear about your experience! But........where are the pics??

Have you got it set yet? How are you going to set it? How are you going to propose??

Hehe, sorry, we''re nosy people.

Thanks for asking! Actually, I do not have it set yet. Let me look into my old Emails from Bob. If they are still active, I''l post them. They are not really much different than what you''ll see on the site..at least as heart and arrow pics go.

just to anser your other questions.....not sure yet how I am going to propose. I''d rather do it in Costa Rica in a special place...but time may not permit. The setting though......I am looking into a Christopher Designs CrisCut setting. It looks a lot like a traditional, 2 on each side of the center diamond baguette look. But the Criscut diamonds are emerald shape diamonds with aboot 30 more facets to bring out more brilliance.

thanks for sharing your story t-rex.
i had much the same experience. a few months ago a dear friend of mine was looking for an engagement ring. her fiancee was set on getting a hof since he had been to many jewelry stores and found the quality to be the best. i recommended that they see an aca from wf. my friend was completely open to comparing the two, but her fiancee was dead set on getting a hof. in his mind, nothing could be better since the hof stones were so much better than anything else he had ever seen. of course, he was also now convinced that you had to pay the unbeleivable premium hof are priced at to get good quality. it took a several weeks of gentle convincing to get him to just agree to at least seeing the aca, but he finally gave in. he seriously could not believe his eyes when the stone arrived (i''m sure you know that feeling!) we ended up going to every jewelry store in town to show that baby off. there was no way any of the jewelers here could come close to the quality and especially the price. like you, we got compliments and kudos from jewelers saying what a nice stone the aca was. they were right! it''s no secret that i am a fan of wf and aca''s. they are a great company with awesome diamonds! enjoy!

please post pics!!

Hi Belle,
Thanks for your reply. You know, it almost seemed too good to be true....but it really is. What diamond did you get. It was a lot less than the HOF huh?

Glad to hear you had a good experience! I definitely agree about the quality of ACA''s! My fiance was skeptical about buying online too, he wanted to go with Tiffany because he was convinced that they alone had the best quality and sparkle. I convinced him to buy from whiteflash, because their prices were so much better. He finally decided he was convinced about my diamond this weekend- we were in Yokohama (Japan) and walked into a Lazare diamonds store. Their diamonds ranged about $3500 for .25 ct- my stone is a .55 and was less than half that price, and the sparkle was exactly the same as theirs! And, mine hadn''t even been cleaned that day.

We also walked into another high-end Japanese jeweler, and as we were browsing the lady caught sight of my ring, asked to see it, and proceeded to gush about how beautiful it was and then pick out about 10 different gemstone rings for me to try on that would go well with my ring. The Japanese are into highest quality in everything, and her reaction finally convinced him that his eyes aren''t lying!

they ended up purchasing this beauty for more than HALF of the price of the exact same hof

the other jewelers could get within a few hundred on price, but the quality was just poor.

That does not surprise me at all. I went into a couple of Tiffany''s myself. They gave me the attitude that they only sell their rings with the center stone....no semi mounts. I thought thier jewlely was very nice, but over priced and over rated. I would consider their rounds compared to a Lexus. ACA''s are a Benz!
