I''m slowly (very, very slowly) turning my 5 stone into a right hand eternity band and found this stone i''m thinking of adding.

http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/Whiteflash-ACA-cut-diamond-1982383.htm#

I looked at the AGS report and don''t understand why it was graded an SI1. The report shows two small clouds and one tiny crystal, or the other way around. I''m pretty anal about clarity in rings but my VS stones show more inclusions on their reports than this SI1 does. So what am I missing?

I have no clue..but I would love to know the reason for this too. My SI2 stone shows hardly any inclusion markings on its report too. I always found that odd.

Ask WF. It certainly looks very clean but there must be something that isn''t showing up in the photos. Very nice find!

I sent WF an email. Waiting for a respone. I''m still wondering why it''s an SI1. Maybe an expert can chime in?

Why not go with the ACA? It''ll be beautiful.

The James Allen stone is also an H&A, AGS0 with an excellent idealscope image. It''s also a VS1 as opposed to WF''s SI1, and only 14 bucks more.

So, I GOT IT! I love aca''s, own ''em, but it wasn''t worth it for me to get the WF one this time just for the ACA brand.

The crystal is larger than you think, in the magnified pic it shows that.
It is a grade setting si1 crystal.
Could be totaly eyeclean so no big deal.

Thanks Karl. I looked again after you pointed it out and noticed it at the bottom of the table. I knew there had to be a reason!

Went with the VS1.

Karl- you''re giving me way too much credit. So here are the specs:

H, VS1 AGS0

Crown 34.2
Pav 40.9
table 56.8
depth 60.5
it measure 5.23x5.29x3.3.19

what do you think? it''s my first JA stone so i''m gonna compare to my other stones and see how it holds up

It could be eyeclean (I thought about it myself). But, it''s still two clarity grades lower? I''m still perplexed by the price differential, or rather, the lack thereof.

Not sure why but was wondering about it myself..
I''m going to guess because it''s a branded stone.
