White gold and platinum pictures before and after wearing?

Debating between white gold and platinum for a purchase in the near future, and after reading a lot of info, I'm still curious to see the difference with my own two eyes... So anyone that is willing, and has pictures of their ring when new, snap another picture of it now and tell me:

1. White gold or platinum
2. Type of alloy
3. How long you have been wearing it?

I just really want to see with my own eyes the difference in the patina/color/scratches as the ring gets worn.

Thanks in advance.

I took photos of my plat ring every month up to six months (couldn't stand the patina and had it remade in a different metal)
It was cast, 950/ir (that's the softest commonly used around here)

It's not just the metal alloy, it's also how it was made (cast/die struck/...) - some methods of manufacture yield denser and more patina-resistant canvasses of the same alloy. There can be downsides - handforged Ni-wg is more brittle..

I took pictures of my platinum ruthenium setting after wearing a few years. All it would take is a light polish to make it look like new.

Thanks Yssie and Jan.
my wife's 14k WG ring is starting to turn yellow after 7 yrs,so my advise is to go with a PT ring.

Not sure this will be helpful since my band is so thin and hard to photograph. I tried in a few different lightings and with/without flash. Anyway, it's a 14k white gold half eternity that I've had for 2 years. I don't have any before pictures, but it was just your average 14k white gold.

In person, I'd say it still looks white standing alone. If you held it next to a brand new ring, you'd certainly see that it's yellowed a bit. Personally, I like the colour it is now. It's more worn and almost an antique white instead of bright white. When I resize it for my right hand when we get engaged, I'll probably have it polished since it's pretty beat up (I've worn it every day for 2 years, working as a nurse where I sanitize and wash my hands a zillion times a day), but I likely won't have it replated.
