WHITE diamond PRINCESS with YELLOW DIAMOND wedding band

Hi all!

I'm hoping you can help me. My partner and I have been shopping for THE ring (eeeeeee!!!!) and we've chosen a princess cut passion8 diamond engagement ring (either solitaire or with a scalloped edge halo) in yellow gold. (I've also been thinking maybe we could get the halo in light yellow diamonds????)

For the wedder, I am thinking of a fancy yellow diamond eternity band in yellow gold.

This combo is IMPOSSIBLE to find pics of on the internet, and is too hard to visualise accurately. Obviously in my head it looks amazing. But I don't want to take the risk and then HATE it.

If you have pics of ANY of this, or something similar, pretty please wont you show me the bling?

Welcome to PS! I found this...unfortunately it's a round center but I'm sure it doesn't take much more imagination to picture a princess in the middle. The shank is wide and not your choice of gold but perhaps with a little bit of photoshop magic you could try to combine some pictures so you can get a visual!

I think it would look nice with a white diamond eternity in yellow gold but again that's just my imagination! Thank you pandabee! It's been a long ring search for us, he is very traditional (steering him away from a brilliant cut soltaire was a nightmare in itself!) and our decision to choose a princess cut diamond was hard - I've dreamt of a white pear with a yellow halo all in rose gold for as long as I remember.

But then, I'd marry him with a burger ring on my finger. So I'm sure I'll love whatever we end up with. I'll see you in the other forum

hehe. wanted to add that I looked through DBL site and sadly didn't find any yellow diamond halos. did find this more recent thread with some good links though that I thought you might want to look through! This is pretty different, because its an EC and both are in platinum, but I absolutely love this combination!!!! Go for it!

Have you looked at Simon g? They have colored diamond halos and pave. I am on my phone or I'd like you some.

Do you see the setting in my avatar? That ring is by Beaudry and they made that exact ring with a yellow diamond halo (the rest was platinum like mine) for a diamond center. They also made yellow diamond bands. Maybe the pictures will give you some ideas! They often have the yellow diamonds set in yellow gold but with most of the setting in platinum for contrast.

It's not a princess center but here's a pic of a ring I used to own that had a white center and FY halo. The halo was YG and the rest of the ring was white gold.

So I did a couple of Google searches...

Erika W. Posted this here on PS in February... I know it's not a princess cut, nor does it have yellow diamonds, but it is a beautiful yellow gold halo. Try to picture yellow stones...

This one is a fancy yellow princess, just reverse the colors of the center stone and the halo... It has the scalloped edges that you said you like.

And here are a couple of fancy yellow eternity bands in yellow gold...

If I am envisioning it right... It will be a very yellow ring... yellow halo, yellow gold, yellow eternity band, with the only white being the princess cut center stone. Is that correct??

If done right... it will probably be a very stunning and unique ring!!
