Found these 2 loose diamonds, both with GIA certificates. I’m not very savvy when it comes to this but I know some basics. I can get both for approx the same price. Or neither?? Thoughts?

Fancy shapes can never be selected solely based on the reports. Do you have any pictures, videos? Ideally, we would like to see an ASET.

I am assuming that these are options from a local store, are you open to shopping online? If so, what is your budget, we can help you find a pretty emerald.

1) larger stone, H color, VS2 (his finger is 10.5)

I am not impressed by either, the first one has clear light leakage (see how dark the facets look int he center when head on) and the second one is way too blurry to tell, but I am also seeing some darkness.

What is your budget? Can we please help you find a nice stone?

Thank you so much!!!! Budget is around $6k. Was originally hoping for an emerald but would need at least an 8x6 to look right on my finger (want a solitaire setting) so that’s way, way, way out of my budget. Just now starting to look at Asschers...not sure I can find something decent.

Why are you looking at a .85 emerald if you want 8x6mm? How low on the color scale are you willing to go?
What size finger do you have?

You probably wont get 8x6 unless you drop way down in the color range.
