Well the good news is that my dress has arrived

!! the scarey news is that i need to find and order shoes asap to schedule my fittings!
eeeek!!!!!! I have been searching for months and can''t find what i am looking for- an over 3" heel white satin slingback. seems like it would be easy right? ha!

so i have decided to post contenders. i will also post my dress so that you get a feel for what it''s going with. i would love your feedback! thanks.

well, so that's it. that's all i could find. i am really bummed at the lack of high wedding shoes (that don't look like stripper shoes).
fyi- FI is 6' and i am 5'- i NEED high heels -tee hee hee

Ooo, #3. The green with the rhinestones is scary, but with the white they look good. The shape is classy and elegant, and the sheen is nice.

I love #1 and #4!!

Oooh, I love those Stuart Weitzmans. I wore SW mega high heels for my wedding and I have to say that I danced all night and my feet barely hurt. But if you can''t find them in your size, my other picks are #2 and #4.

OooooOOoooOOoooh,
I LOVE #2 VERY classy and elegant. Understated too, your dress is so lovely, the shoes don''t need to say much.

#3

3! It''s gorgeous! But make sure the rhinestoney things wont catch on your dress if you pick that one.

Hmm, 3 or 6. I''m an open toe gal myself, but choose what works for you!

i definitely want closed toe for the ceremony. these strappy ones will just be there *in case* at the reception.

What about "Gill" from Jimmy Choo''s (bridal selection)?

I like #3 and #4 myself... simple, white, but with the rhinestones it makes them sparkle just enough to know that these are your special shoes, not just a pair of white slingbacks you happened to wear on your wedding. Also, if they are dyeable, you could dye them after the ceremony to match another outfit and have another pair of shoes in your closet. No woman would complain about that.

#2 and #4!! Both classy and elegant. Love love love...

I would not recommend #1.

I own these in black and the back strap would not stay up.

I only wore them once and I was miserable the whole time.

i like number three....have u checked out the JCrew website? They have some really nice bridal shoes as well..here are a few:
