Hi everyone,

I''ve been scouring the internet for my wedding band and I''m a bit torn between a few. If the lovely P-scope ladies/guys can help me choose, please provide your opinions!

My e-ring post can be found here:
https://www.pricescope.com/forum/show-me-the-ring/finally-my-1-5-e-vs2-omc-leon-mege-neatfreak-repro-e-ring-t120385-30.html

I don''t know how to create a link succinctly the way everyone else can just yet.

I tried on the:

1)Tiffany Jazz

2)Leon

I love this ring but am worried that it would overpower my e-ring. Thinking about getting baguettes instead of emeralds so the band would be closer to 1.8-2 mm.

There was a post with a member who had Leon make a thin baguette eternity band in rose gold. I absolutely loved it but can''t find the link.

What do you all think?

Thanks for your responses in advance!

I really love the second one... I think it fits better with the style of your e-ring IMHO.

Leon''s ring made with baguettes instead of emerald cuts would be a beautiful compliment to your e-ring.

I remember this! I love it and think it would go wonderfully with your ering! I''ll try to find the link for you.

Found it! Posted by Megeve, Link

I think a baguette eternity would go nicely. You could also do two stacking rings, one on either side of your ring, since I''m assuming the band wouldn''t sit flush?

Personally, I love the Jazz, but I'm a bit biased towards it.

I am also a huge fan of non-matchy sets.

I think if the Leon was thinner it might go better, but that's just personal preference.

Anything will go with that ring in my opinion. I'm sooooooo over the Jazz look (far too popular now..everyone seems to have a bezel set band). I really like the band with the emerald shape/baguette stones, that Shimmer posted!

It would make for a very unique, more original looking set! The e-ring is just gorgeous BTW!

i love te Jazz!!! But as Beau said, anything can go!!!

PS: Have you gone over Single Stone's website? they have many styles or eternity band style... :) Their quality is superb!

Yes, I do think anything will go as well. As for the jazz look, I still like them. I haven't seen one person around me with the jazz, so maybe on PS it is popular, but IRL I don't see any yet and I do stare constantly at everyone's hand whenever I"m out and about.

I love the emerald/baguette & round shape too!

I would go for the Tiffany Jazz... but then again I''m completely biased, since I have the graduated band from the Jazz collection as a right hand ring... and I''m in love with it! annnnd the Jazz would definitely lend more sparkle to your set... which is always a good thing

I just snapped a couple of pics to help you out. Here''s my cushion (1.09) with my Whiteflash 2.3mm bezel band.

I didn''t clean them before

As part of the "everyone" that has a bezel band, I'm with D&T on this one - I'm the ONLY person IRL I've ever seen with one. And I stare at hands too.

Shimmer - I LOVE the bezel band with your cushion!

ETA: How did I miss you getting a cushion?

Gecko, hehe, it''s new! I have not been able to take good photos of it yet, so just hang in there and I''ll start a thread soon!

Shimmer, okay good, I was hoping I hadn''t just missed it!

The bezel band looks great with your cushion!
Freckles, either band will look great with your gorgeous ring. I love my bezel band and I haven''t seen it on anybody other than fellow PSers. I love, love the baguette eternity and it is high on my wishlist. Honestly don''t think you can go wrong with either. I''ve heard baguettes are less sparkly, but megeve''s bands look great to me.

For what it''s worth, I think people should really choose what they like because they love it. Whether or not something''s out of fashion or "too fashionable"/overdone should not even play into their decision(s). If we''re going to say that bezel-set bands are "overdone," the same could easily be said to a greater degree about halos, claw prongs, pave, heck, even round solitaires!
3.gif
However, I''m not about to float around threads saying that I''m "so over" the halo look (even if I were, which for the record, I am not) just because it seems very popular at the moment and "everyone seems to have" a pave + halo ring.

Anyway, point being that regardless of whether or not "everyone seems to have a bezel set band" (though add me to the pile of people who have never seen one in real life, and I live in a very blinged-out city), it has to boil down to what YOU love the look of, freckles. Do you truly LOVE the look of a bezel band? Or do you LOVE the look of an east-west baguette band (whether channel or prong set)?

Is there one that you can''t shake from your head? If so, then there is your answer. If not, then you probably haven''t found the right one yet.

I definitely found that that was the case for me... once I found the one that I couldn''t shake from my head, I knew that was it. And for the record, I made that choice without even considering, or being conscious of, how popular it was or wasn''t.

Thank you Shimmer for finding it. I did searches of rose gold and Leon and still didn''t get to that link.

I love the rounds and baguettes combo and this ring is indeed, very lovely.

Musey,

I agree. It boils down to a personal preference and since I''ll be wearing it and not you, it is my decision ultimately. The purpose of the post was not to gather the PS members opinion and choose that ring without any thought to my preference. It was just a post to gather opinions.

I''ve emailed Leon for a quote, for a channel set round and baguette in platinum because after seeing the rose gold set, I''m certain that''s the one I can''t shake from my head.

Thanks all for your feedback and helping me post links!! Much appreciated!

Freckles, I meant no offense in my post, I was not criticizing your desire for opinions in the least. In fact, PSers know that I myself started countless "what on earth should I choose for my wedding band?!?!?!!" threads. I had a really tough time picking one!! I just wanted to share what mindset helped me make my decision in the end, because no one suggested approaching it that way during my flip-flopping. Or if they did, I was too loopy with all the options floating around in my head to take it to heart.

Most of what I wrote was to address the idea that bezel bands are overdone. I just think that regardless of its accuracy (which again, I completely disagree! if you compare the number of bezel bands around PS against the number of pave halos, or shared-prong eternity bands, or whatever... there''s just no comparison), it''s a silly thing to let impact one''s decision.
