Hi all!

I am hoping to have my diamond set before too long, and am still stuck on a setting. There are sooo many beautiful ones to choose from! I have seen a lovely vintage-y Ritani halo in person that I love, but I'm not sure if I like the matching band. So I would like you to choose which one you think looks better with the halo setting, the band Ritani made to go with it, which tapers like the e-ring and has graduated diamonds, or a straight band with NO taper. The Ritani rep said the ring fits best with the matching tapered band, and that that's why they designed it the way they did. Thank you for your thoughts, and please tell me why you prefer one over the other!!

Most appreciated!

Option 1) With tapered matching band:

Option 2) With straight, no taper band (NOTE: this is my badly photoshopped version:

#2! :)

I like band 2 better as well!

I would probably go with #2.

Thank you Orange, Luckyeshe, swedishbean, and tyty!

For those that prefer the straight band without graduated diamonds, do you think the first band looks ugly with the ring? I still can't decide if I like it or if I think it looks funky, lol.

I vote for #2 as well

I like #2, and the way the curved band plays off the curves on the ering.

I think it looks beautiful! I like both options, but something about the first one really speaks to me.

I like 2, the wb in 1 would spin and that would make me batty because it wouldn''t line up.

Is this for your upgrade?

I like version 1 with the minimal space in between rings...

I like 2 better. I don''t think #1 is ugly, I just think it would spin more and not look right at times.

I think they''re both pretty but I prefer #2. I think it would annoy me a little if #1 spun around and didn''t really line up (but from the front I do think they''re both very pretty).

Number 2 for sure!

Another vote for 2

The straight band, hands down - I don''t care what the rep says, the basic laws of physics say the band will shift and dis-align from the e-ring. Unless you solder them, it''s a recipe for OCD.

#1 isn''t ugly but I just don''t like the contour of it. I would definitely pick #2 and the spinning issue would be an issue for me!

Option #1

#2!

#2!!!

I like the matching #1 better.

another one for #2. I like the tiny space between.

#2
Not feeling the tapered look. I''m not a matchy matchy person to begin with anyway.

#2

Thank you so much, PSers are the best!

To make the choice harder, my husband said the 2nd straight band didn''t look like it matched with the ring. He said it looked odd that they were different. Aargh!

I like #2...

#1. It just flows....

to two too

I''ve tried on #1 in person and I LOVED how it looked with the slight graduation. However, I''m sure it will never line up exactly right so I would probably go with #2.
