Hi

We have just received our CAD's from WF, and DH prefers one and I prefer the other. The difference is not big, but we are torn, so we thought of getting the input of PS to see which is preferred and why.

arghh, decision...decisions...

WF has been amazing to work with and Joe so fantastic that we cant decide which one to go with...

The other one.....Pic 2
edit....Pic 1 is a bit rounded in the prongs, thats the only difference

Thanks for all your help

Oh, just going to say that I have only occasional internet access over the next week, so thanks in advance for your replies and sorry if I dont respond quickly to any queries.

happy holidays to all!!!

i cant tell the difference?

It's your dime, but
I'm kind of partial to the top one
A little more vintage rounded???
smoother looking if that makes any sense.
Very Nice either way (Nice choice)

I like the top one because it is more fluid. I love smooth seamless lines so I am biased in that respect

I also like the top photo with the smooth curved prongs, seems to flow better to my eye.

nr 1

Beautiful ring, I like the 1st one better as well..but its hard to tell any difference at all between them, so either would be good!

I would say #1 as well - no sharp edges.

I say the first one as well. I not only like the more fluid look, but I also like the way the prongs between the cuved upside down V looks at the bottom of the diamond. Subtle but soemthing about it just looks better IMO.

Another vote for the 1st pic. It is just more pleasing to my eye. Either one will be beautiful!

the difference is barely visible. but yea, like the others i like the rounded prongs a little better.

i like the more rounded look of the first one.

The first one!

#1

#1 jumped out at me in an instant - more fluid, but get what YOU like!

Barely visible difference, but I prefer #1.

Both lovely and so similar... but looking for fine details... the band is rounded so I would vote for the rounded prongs as well. # 1.

I like the way the basket hugs the diamond more in the top one - it''s like the setting is cradling the diamond.

The setting looks more industrial in the second - it''s just something to hold the stone in place.

Amazing how such a little thing can make a difference..

Never one to go with the flow it seems!!!! I prefer #2 because it has a more "modern" feel. I like clean lines and it appeals to me rather than the rounded look in #1.

In all honesty, CADs are so magnified that you probably won''t see much a difference if you were to look at both in a shop.

The only thing I would add is that you have to wear this all the time so you should pick the one that you''re going to love to look at.

I agree I like the first one, looks a bit more fluid and less utilitarian looking

One hands down! I just like it better, can''t say why.

What size are the diamonds? This is a version of Yssie''s ring, which I adore, and the diamonds look a little more "my size"

I always wondered how that might look...

I''m going to deviate from the norm and say I actually prefer the 2nd one - it looks crisper and cleaner to me somehow.

Both are lovely though - its going to be a beautiful ring!!

#1, reminds me more of a vatache style setting.

Number one for sure! With number two it draws your eyes up to the prongs but dissapoints by not having an "end"

#1 caught my eye immediately. I like the roundness of the profile better. Which of you likes which one?

Number 1...I looked at the pictures without reading what the difference was and was more drawn to number 1.
I had to keep going back and forth to finally see where the difference was in the rings (still drawn to number 1).

But I say you are wearing it and get the one you like best (Note - I have not read all the post so you may
have said somewhere along the line).

I like the more rounded prongs of the 1st one too.

For me it''s number 1 hands down. Number 2 just seems to show more metal and I don''t like that. It will be a gorgeous ring!
