Which pair would you choose?

I''m looking for diamond stud earrings for my wife and have come down to a couple different pairs from BN:

My budget is $3000, but would you go bigger with lesser clarity or smaller with better clairty. Also, can I get away with J colored diamonds in earrings?

You can't see the cert in the second diamond of the first pair, so we have no idea what its c/p angles are.



I definitely think Js are safe for studs, and it's a great way to save money. They're RBs so they'll look nice and white face up from normal interacting distances, and you don't need to worry about people seeing the tint from the pavilion
