Which one would you go with - 1.7 ct G SI1 or 1.6 G ct VS2?

Hi All,

Which do you guys think I should go with? Looking to pull the trigger tomorrow on either of these stones. I'd say both are pretty equal in cuts, price point is similar. Both stones are GIA certified and "eye clean" (I believe at certain angles you will be able to see the feather in the the 1.7 ct), the obvious question is should I go with the 1.7 which has a cheaper cost per carat or go with the 1.6 with the better clarity and slightly higher cost per carat. It depends on if you're a "mind clean" person or not. I have two eye-clean SI1s and don't care that there are imperfections I can't even see. I personally would make sure cut is king, then assuming they're both ideal cut I would go BIGGER

I'm team 1.6 G VS ONLY because the SI has an obvious inclusion against the table, and that, to ME, is not eye clean, and would bug the crap outta me!
Other than that, I think the SI is a gorgeous stone, and would be eye clean, if not for the inclusion against the table.

The 1.7ct looks pretty clean to me. I have an eye clean SI1 and I love it. If you receive it and can see anything that bugs you just send it back and exchange it for the other one.

I* believe I would be able to see the inclusions with the naked eye, yes...
I* can't stand spots on my phone screen or on my tv. If the table of my EC has finger prints, or water marks from rain drops on it, I'm cleaning it with my cloth, and my EC may have a long table, but it's only a 1.07ct stone. It is also an SI2...perfectly eye clean. If there were any inclusions against the table or under table of my EC, I wouldn't have her; I just can't see past them. I love my EC, and you can't tell she's an SI2 because of the position of her inclusions. The larger the spread, the more noticeable inclusions become...especially, when the inclusions are located in plain sight.
