Mmmm...tough choice. What are the dimensions of both stones, by the way? Is one a lot pricier than the other? Oh, I just noticed the 'very thin' part of the girdle. Can you get more specifics on that?

I'd choose whichever one looks best to your eye (or to your appraiser's eye, or even to your vendor's eye).

Assuming grading is accurate and price is the same, I'd go with high color...

Actually, Wondo......personally, I'd choose neither of them.

Most of the experts seem to agree that the best crown angles fall between 40.6 and 40.9. Both of these stones do fall within AGS 0 standards, but if I were in your position, I'd look for another stone that falls in this range.

I would choose stone #1. I like the EX's on the HCA instead of the VG's, the girdle is better IMO than slightly thick, and polish & symm are excellent. Seems as though stone #2 would have more 'fire' due to the steeper crown angle, can an expert confirm?
