HI all

I am reading for some time your recommendations.
Let me know what you think about this 3 and if you can point me to others in same price range 4000-5000 will be great.

Re: Which one will you pick or something else you can recomm

Clarity is overkill if you just need an eye-clean stone. Almost all VS2 of that size is eye-clean and most SI1.

I love #2. But you need to inspect it in person to see the effect of med blue fluo.

agree. don't need vvs. vs is good enough.

Its not really a concern with med, only really with Strong or Very strong.

Are you wanting a very high clarity stone particularly?

I am looking for something color E-G and Clarity VS-VVS.
So i am working between this on something that will look great.
Thanks for all feedback so far. I am looking to the other options i got from you so far.

This is nice too. I was looking into BN because they AMEX has an offer where you get 10% discount if you pay with an AMEX card.
SO if i end up getting one from there will use the card as i have no APR.

Well any of the ones you selected from BN are likely fine.

Re: Which one will you pick or something else you can recomm

I'd go with the first .79 ct one - it seems to me to be the best combo of clarity, cut, and colour and the prices between each are not very different at all. People say clarity doesn't count and I used to agree but check this it's weird - I have a D VS2 e-ring which is .30 ct and 2 earrings which are both F VVS2 and the same carat size, one of my earrings is VG cut and one is Excellent cut, and guess what I can't tell any difference between them but one thing I can definitely tell is that I think they are as sparkly and white as my Tiffany one, if not better even! Ok so the earrings are set higher so probably the setting is influencing it but it is totally strange to me that I can really tell the clarity difference.

I wouldn't normaly say pick the better clarity, but looking at the three you have suggested I would say in this particular case why not pick the better clarity when all the other specs are almost exactly the same and the price is not that different.

If you want to go a little larger BGD has a signature just over $5K, depending on your setting allowance they might work with you on a bit more of a discount.

and you will want to double check it's eye clean.

Ok. If i go up on the price will you pick the one you recommend or this one?

Also any concern with the feathers that i see in both? Will check if both are eye clean

I would still select Brian Gavin as everything is transparent and right in front of you. Too many unknowns for me with Bluenile.

Other factors contributing to my pick immensely is having the option to upgrade in the future and Brian has great eyes for diamonds. Plus they use excellent - ideal melees in their settings.

What do you think about those feathers that are close to the edges? Should that be any concern?

Re: Which one will you pick or something else you can recomm

Honestly, the best person to answer this would be Brian, as none of us have the diamond in front of us to assess.

As D&T said - best to ask BGD. But they are the last inclusion listed (listed in order of most to least "serious") and it's a reputably graded SI1, from a vendor that strictly screens its signature stones, so I would be absolutely shocked to hear that they posed any sort of durability/performance impediment!
