which lab in Canada is the cheapest to have rings graded at?

Hi there,
I know right off the bat GIA is gonna be the most expensive, what lab would you suggest sending my rings to to have them graded at? And what do each of the labs in Canada cost for grading?

Are you talking about appraisal of a ring, or a grading report of loose stones.

I want a report on the grading of the gold used in the ring, the diamonds used in the ring, etc.
in Canada, which lab would be the cheapest to use? A lab's a lab, GIA, IGI, etc. they all do the same great work.

GIA doesn't do that anyway. Look for an appraiser in your town. Where are you and we can perhaps arrange a referral.

The cheapest is rarely the best but, other than getting inexpensive service, what is your objective here?

Those labs are actually not all equal with respect to the work they do -- which is issue grading reports on loose diamonds (color, clarity, cut quality). So they won't do what you want. If you want an appraisal of your set pieces for insurance purposes, then any competent local appraiser can do it for you. If you want more detailed information, then you might need to look around more.
