Hi,

Whisch stone would you choose based on the stats and images below if all things were the same including colour, clarity, carats (and dimensions of stones) and both are equally eye clean.

STONE 1

Crown angle: 34.8
Pav angle : 40.8
table : 54.9
depth: 61.8

HCA: 1.5
Light return: Excellent
Fire: Excellent
Scintillation: Excellent
Spread: Very Good

STONE 2

Crown angle: 34.5
Pav angle : 41
table : 55
depth: 61.3

HCA: 1.8
Light return: Excellent
Fire: Very Good
Scintillation: Very Good
Spread: Very Good

Which stone would you choose out of the two?

Does stone 1 appear to be better based on the stats above and the HCA results )more Very Good vs Excellent ratings for fire and scintillation)?
Also, does the idealscope image for stone 2 appear to have more leakage in the centre of the stone (the ring around the centre)?

Please let me know your thoughts on the image and stat comparison.

Based on my limited knowledge, Stone 1 appears to have better stats and images? is that correct?

Also, I have a question regarding the AGSL pictures on ags certificates? Does it matter whether the centre of the stone is depicted with a red or green centre? Red Indicating 'brightness' versus a green centre indicating 'less brightness'?

please let me know if you need more info!

Thanks!

They both look excellent. Given the choice between the two as you outlined, I would pick #1.

Hi, sorry, I had to login on another account I set up with pricescope when everyone was experiencing login issues a couple months back as I am on my work pc and can't login to my existing account for some reason!! Argh!!!
Stone cold- they are both ags 000 stones . Both have been confirmed as H&A stones.

Ags certs are as follows:

Stone 1 # 104052532005 1.532 carats
Stone 2 #104054774001 1.505 carats

Thanks for your help!

Bump :wavey: Anyone? Please? :appl:

Is that a "ring of death" on stone #2?

I prefer the first one.

Thanks so much for your comments! I also had a preference for stone 1 but wasn't sure!
Really appreciated! I can never tell how to read idealscope images but I wasn't sure what that lighter ring was in the stone 2 image?
Like nervousbuyer mentioned, I thought it could be the 'ring of death' as well but it is a ags000 stone H&A so thought this was unlikely?
