I'm trying to decide which eternity band would look best with my e-ring. I have a .82 diamond (pictured below). The shank on my e-ring band ranges from 2.0-2.3 mm wide).

Which facets channel set eternity band should I get?

Choice 1:

Choice 2:

Thanks for all of your help. I really want a band to be a perfect compliment, and I can't decide which one is best!

The smaller one. I just looked up the small Tiffany channel-set eternity and it is 2mm wide and .40 cts. So I wouldn't go bigger than the 2.5mm one with your e-ring.

I always think bigger is better so I would take the second one.

For me, the 0.53ctw one. so that it doesnt distract from the ering. i think it would better compliment the ering, in terms of width and bling. perhaps go to a B&M store to see something similar so that you can assess what it looks like?

Thanks to those who have voted so far and have offered feedback. I'm having a hard time telling the difference between the .53 and .63 ctw. I know the .53 is 2.5mm and the .63 is 2.6mm....I'm not sure that's a huge difference. Is the difference that the stones are larger? The .53 has 36 diamonds, whereas the .63 has 35 diamonds. Aahhhh, I'm so confused!

I too would prefer a thin one to not take attention away from the ering if you we're to wear them together.

I guess I'm not as finicky about the 1mm difference, and as such, I'd select the larger one - the .63 w the 35 diamonds. The diamonds would just be a slight bit larger and may have more sparkle factor for you.

I would go to a B&M and test drive a few options to see which does appeal IRL. What you think looks awesome on PS/internet, sometimes doesn't really look as fantastic when you actually see it on your hand. I learned that lesson recently, so I'm a big fan of trying things on first!

The eternity bands at my local jewelry stores are so clunky.

I'm hoping Leah from Facets can send me real life pics of those 2 rings...perhaps that would help me!

In the meantime, keep the votes coming :) I value all your opinions!

I like option #1 due to the fact that it would have less gaps in between the diamonds in the channel set setting. Have you thought about stacking pave bands as an alternative?

They should be able to do this for a small deposit that will be refunded when you send them back. I have the 2.3mm channel band from them and they were able to send me some different sizes before ordering. The smallest one ended up looking best with my e-ring (my center stone is 0.79ct so it's close to your size).

Math isn't my strong suit, but the stones in the .53 are about 1 and a half points (.015) and the .63 are a little closer to 2 points (.018). There doesn't seem to be that much difference between them, so I'd probably go for the larger one.

ditto,

I chose the first because I think wedding bands look best when they're close in size or smaller than the shank of the e-ring.

Smaller one. I like proportional contrast to make the center stone look bigger.

Smaller one - I like the look of weddings bands being the same size as the engagement ring shank, plus prefer the look of more, smaller diamonds than less larger ones (in a band like this).
