Which do you like more?

I am in the early stages of making a diamond RHR. I want something with some vintage flair and that does not look like an engagement ring.
I didn't find anything I really liked in rings but then I found these 2 pendants and thought both would look great as a ring.
Both jewellers say they can do a custom order and make a ring like the pendant.
Either way I will have a 0.5 - 0.6 ct MRB stone in the centre.
I really like both and can't decide which I like more.

I love the first one. It seems more organized and deliberate. Also reminds me of a compass rose.

I absolutely love that suggestion about the marquis! The two little melee diamonds in there was one thing I didn't love but I didn't even think about switching them out for marquis.

Definitely no 1.
It’s a much “crisper” design so more visually distinctive.
The other setting is lovely but it’s very “busy looking”, difficult to focus on any particular design element.

I prefer the first as well! The second is a bit of a hodgepodge of sparkle, while the first looks more deliberate. I do like the suggestion upthread of changing the two small diamonds in the petal to a single marquis, cost permitting.

I like that one, too. Something about the curves of it is very appealing to me.

I think I am leaning towards the first one though.

The first one is my favorite as well! I love the air gap around the first halo and the overall shape is more pleasing to me.
