HI, Would appreciate your expert opinions on which of these stones would look best overall to the naked eye. I''m not good with what the measurements mean. Want a very white-looking stone but it appears the higher I go for color, then cut is not as good in this price range. Clarity is not as important as long as eye-clean. Thus, my question....overall what''s the best-looking stone?

The most expensive one has a very dark IS...does that make it worth the extra $$$ (not factoring the VS1 clarity)?

I would get the 1.25 G SI1 as long as it is eye-clean, which it looks likely to be.

F and G look nice.

The VS1 stone seems to be an almost New Line, and any differences in the redness are due to photography.

Assuming both are eyeclean, my picks in order:

1. G SI

2. F SI

So apparently I take too long to decide. I was getting all excited that I finally had it narrowed down to the F or G when I found they BOTH are SOLD! (sigh)
Pricescpe gave a couple more choices to me. The advantage is they are larger! Disadvantage is the clarity and/or cert stats may not be as high as the F and G I liked originally. What do you think? Trust the PS rep''s opinion (which is what she wrote below the link) or go by the certs?

1.453 G SI2 - no inclusions visible...perfect eyeclean
keep in mind SI means easy to view inclusions under magnification. This diamond is an excellent selection

1.51 H SI1 - 100% eyeclean
now don''t let the magnified picture make you run away..in person it is a beauty...it is just not a heart and arrow diamond...but very brilliant ...look at the idealscope

I also now just read that SI is rarely eye-clean these days. I personally saw an HOF stone that was beautiful SI1 but you could see numerous flaws in the jewelry store lights....and was very disappointed. Yes, I know the store lighting is different but then makes me wonder what other lighting it would show up in. Anyone had good experiences with actually getting an eyeclean SI stone?

There are many, many SI1 eyeclean stones, even from ALL sides (I own one), even some SI2''s.

If that G is truly eyeclean, I''d snatch it up in a heartbeat. It''s facing up bigger than the H (although only by a split hair), and the price is awesome!

This is all assuming you are not wanting absolute sheer perfection like with an ACA.

I agree. Go for the G, it''s well priced. And if you get cold feet with it afterward, just return it within WF return policy. (I also am I going to buy a eye-clean SI2 G from WF. If it''s not eye clean to me, I''m just going to return it)

$45 hedge for shipping...
