Which diamond would you purchase?

Both would be in the running based on an HCA below 2.0. Can the seller provide images (good photos, ASET, idealscope)? What is the return policy from the seller if you don't like it once in hand?

Unfortunately I will need to go look at them in person. Is there anything specific I should be looking for?

Honestly, I would strongly advise against choosing by yourself. From your post, you are new at this. Choosing a diamond is a learned skill, but it takes time and exposure. If you were my friend, I'd tell you to buy from an online vendor that is recommended here. Let the folks on this board help you choose a stone and evaluate the imaging. My DH did this and he had spent time around a bunch of gem nerds and looking at stone through loupes. Let's just say his selection really was not "ideal".

For example, these are within the same specs and will be stunning. They give all the imaging needed to be sure the stone will be fantastic. I think you were looking around $2600. Right?

Absent that, spend A LOT of time reading and reviewing on these boards to see which are deemed good or not good performers. You should bring your own idealscope if they don't have one and use that in the store along with a 10x loupe. You'll need to spend time learning to use and evaluate the images. Take your time and rally evaluate each stone. https://ideal-scope.com/
