Hi,
My e-ring I posted about a while back has the following specs:
.52 cts
round brilliant 5.12 - 5.09 x 3.19mm
Depth 62.5%
Table width 62%
Crown Height 13%
Pavillion Depth 43%
Girdle thick, faceted
Polish, and Symmetry Good
No Culet
VS2 Nil Graining
E colour
No fluorescence
I know it has a thick faceted girdle and is less than perfect but I do love it.
However, I have just found a diamond (GIA cert not EGL like the e-ring) that has the following on the certificate -
5.04-5.07 x 3.06mm
.46 carat
Depth 60.5%
Table 55 %
Girdle Thin-Medium Faceted
culet- none
Polish excellent
Symmetry excellent
clarity VS2
characteristics crystal
colour D
flur medium blue
What do you think of this in comparison to the e-ring? I''m getting the e-ring re-set anyway in yellow gold, so I could get them swapped perhaps (haven''t inquired yet). Is it worthwhile? What''s the significance of medium blue? I don''t have the angles (none on certificate) so I can''t use cut advisor.
Any advice?
Thanks!
