they both look great! But, aset 2 is the better. (the one on the right).

Those ASET's are pretty close to identical, so I don't think we can say one is better than the other (but I'd probably choose the first one based on the ASET alone)! But the main thing is, those are computer generated and NOT actual ASET images of the stones. So just consider that a wash in that they are both fine. Numbers on both fall in the desirable range.

So I'd have to have more info to decide. How about the diameters? I might choose the first one based on the lower depth. Slightly prefer the angles as well.

i'll take either one... ;))

0.41ct
diamond 1) 4.80 x 4.85 x 2.96

0.56 ct
diamond 2) 5.30 x 5.34 x 3.27

Would you say the price is worth it to choose the bigger stone?

0.56 is $1869

and

0.41 is $1080

Well what are you doing with it? These are two very different sizes!

Price increase to pass the .5 mark is rather hefty, so if you do decide to pay for that price increase, might as well drop your color/clarity grades down and get something in the .6 range.

Yep, the .5 price increase is significant. I also usually go with the larger stone, but I am wondering what you are doing with it.

It will be for an engagment ring ::)

if it's for an ering, then yes, I'd spend an additional $800 for the larger stone. You will see a size difference.

Yes, I agree. Definitely go with a .56 over a .40 for an engagement ring!
