Hello.

I am deciding between these three diamonds. I really like an antique cushion, but found a modern cushion that I like a lot as well. I haven't picked out a setting yet, but I am thinking about pairing it with a nice five stone band.

Here are the stones I have on hold at JA:

I did find another OMB with a different vendor that has it in their virtual inventory. I like the specs, but I would have to see pics of it first. The vendor won't get the stone in unless I pay upfront.

I am favoring the 2.19 and the 3.03. Completely different looks. But I really would like a larger diamond.

I would appreciate your input. Thanks much in advance!

How color sensitive are you? For me, the lowest I can go in color is an I (my current ring). How are you planning on setting it?

These would all play a factor in decision making IMO :)

I agree with Mico that you should determine how color sensitive you are and how low in color you are willing to go to have a larger stone. I personally like lower colors in a chunky cushion, but you may not. I assume that JA is doing ASET images for you, I would also ask the determine if the stones are eye clean, the inclusions on the tables of the two smaller stones would concern me.

I'm not really color sensitive. I will go with a J. But yes, the inclusion in the table does bother me a bit. I will ask JA, to do the ASET images, but I can't represent that I would know how to interpret them. :loopy:

WF has a what I think is a chunky cushion in the 3 ct range that fits my budget. I may ask them to call in that diamond. I am somewhat reluctant to do so since it isn't one of their stock diamonds and their future guarantees/upgrade wouldn't apply.

I also saw a chunky cushion with LM, but their prices seem to be a little higher.

Any diamond buying experiences with LM or WF? JA has been great so far, and I have nothing but good things to say about them and their service.

thanks for the input!!!

I see the inclusions in the center, seems unlikely to be eye clean, however JA I am sure would give you detail information on the stone, VS2 would be better option though if you could stretch the budget.
