Which diamond cut is better?

Hello, I’m extremely new to diamond proportions and cut quality, and I was hoping someone could help me understand the differences here. If you had to choose between these options, which proportions would you consider better--and why?

To answer your question:
Neither - there are so many diamonds available on the entire planet that I wouldn't settle for one of these two. Why are you limited to just these two?

I’m currently searching for a 2.5–2.6 carat round diamond on Calavera with D color and VVS2 clarity or higher, preferably with no visible inclusions in the center. I’ve been having a bit of trouble finding something that fits those criteria, and I’d be so grateful if you might be able to point me in the right direction.

You can search report numbers at LooseGrownDiamond.
Also search Ritani (put the LG in front of the report number)...if they have a diamond listed then there's a very good chance that it's still available.

I have some new options for you to look at - let me know you're on the forum and I'll post the links (these are just slightly over the 2.60 mark: up to 2.66 carats). Some of them are GIA graded with the same criteria as they grade natural diamonds, which might be alluring since GIA is no longer going to provide detailed grading for LGDs.
