Ok, I am trying this again. I've attached a picture with 4 different cut diamonds. Which do you like best, and why? I will post what each cut is after I get a few votes in!

And don''t forget to tell me why!

Hey, is this poll still working for people?

Because all I see are the results for 5 people...

Edited to add: nevermind...it's at 8 now...

I picked 3 because it reminds me the most of my round brilliant. The others look a bit busy.

I picked 3 because it is the chunkiest.... though if the stone was 3-4 carats I might pick 2 or 4 because IMO larger stones can get away with relatively smaller facets. 1 just isn''t doing it for me.

Yes, that's why I kept the picture small so they look closer to a smaller daimond! However, I am surprised at myself because I am torn between 3 and 4 which in my opinion are the least and most busy!

1 and 4 look weird to me, not sure what it is.

The pictures are really a little small to make any kind of judgment. I''d probably want to see an ideal scope which would tell me more about the optical symmetry of the stone than these pictures do.

So here is what each is, and I've attached a larger picture so you can see the facet patterns

1 0% 0 Eighternity

2 38% 9 Solasfera

3 52% 11 H&A

4 10% 2 Star129

Of course, I don't know how fair it is that this picture doesn't allow for the observer to see fire and scintillation. Kinda neat that the H&A and Solasfera are pretty close. I tried on a 100-facet 1ct and it didn't seem that busy to me (just really sparkly), so I wanted to see what people would pick without any preconceived notions of what each stone was.

My first choice was #3 and second was #2. I prefer the less "busy," chunkier facets on #3, which I now know to be the H & A. I happen to have a ACA H & A

. I don't care for #1 & 4 in the photos, but I would like to see them up close and personal to take a better look.

Okay, that is much better! I did have the perception that I liked #3 best, and I guess that figures since my stones are H&A! Glad to know I am happy with my choice!

I voted for #3, but I like #2 as well. Too much going on with #4.

Wow, it's still pretty close between the H&A and the solasfera!

1 3% 2 Eighternity

2 44% 27 Solasfera

3 48% 29 H&A

4 5% 3 Star129

(Hi EBree! How are things? Y'know, everytime I see a pug now I think EBree!)

I like all except #1. I would like #2 more except it looks dark.

Overall 3 is probably best, but 4 is very interesting and pretty too.

I chose #3, but with the larger image you posted I kinda like #4. I like sparkle...It''s close though
