Which cushion?

signature OMC''s - can''t beat em.

I second that! If you have time to spare, I''d give Jon the specs, sit back and wait for that gorgeous Signature OMC.

Ok so here is where it gets harder (for me anyway!). Rhino very kindly shot me a video of the two (thank you so much Rhino!!!) and both diamonds are gorgeous. The F definitely has more of a pop in faceting...but the H has gorgeous chunky flashes and a bigger spread. The only thing that might bother me a bit on the H is the slight bowtie. In the meantime, I have both diamonds on hold, just in case, while BF and I decide on which one.

Thoughts? Thanks!

Well, I like them both but for different reasons. Love the faceting of the first but it is smaller in spread compared to the other. But with it's optics, that shdnt be a problem. It also seems closer to a square H&A in looks and may not have the same old world charm that the other more antique-ish cushion has.

The second has a more generous spread and looks more like an antique style cushion. I wouldn't worry about the optics cuz the video would have shown you that what you thought earlier was a little bowtie is not a bowtie.

So it really depends on what you prefer based on the video. Sure, both are pretty. One perhaps more brilliant than the other. But they have different personalities. Nvm the price difference. If I were you, the only question that matters to me in the end is which one is more 'ME'?

John pointedly talks about the bowtie, not sure what you mean here?


BEG, for the most part, I like the H better because of the bold chunky flashes, but the bowtie would definitely bug me.

Ellen, I'm with you - I like the H a lot, and love the flashes, but I'm not sure how much that bowtie would bug me. The diamond isn't that big though, so maybe it won't be that noticeable? If not, then I think that's what I'm leaning towards....to be set into a BG Truth setting possibly
