I honestly think that a lot of the celebrity engagement rings just look ridiculous - but I love the larger emerald cuts, like Kim Kardashian's and Beyonce's, I also really like Hilary Duff's ring, but everyone knows that I love princess cuts.

I agree with you shihtzulover!! my favourite ring is Jada Pinkett Smith's ring. I think it's a whopping 12 carat emerald cut with tapered baguettes on either side.

I can't think of a specific favorite ring right now, but I have to say that Anna Paquin's is one of the my LEAST favorite rings. In most of the photos I've seen, the diamond looks cloudy...

I remember reading that it's a rose cut diamond. I looked online and found out that it was actually designed by Stephen Moyer and Cathy Waterman. This is the quote I found:

Anna Paquin’s ring is a vintage or antique style, the kind you might find in the Victorian or Edwardian eras. They have revealed that the center stone is a dark rustic diamond set in fine silver. Moyer’s quote is: “It’s made of silver and it has this amazing rustic diamond. It’s not a rough diamond, but a diamond that isn’t sort of clear and we decided to make it into a ring.”

My least favorite ring is Kim K's. It is materialism on steroids to me. My favorite is JLo's fancy blue, and I also love Kyra Sedgwick's antique flower halo.

Katy Perry's is by far my favorite with Hilary Duff's being the least favorite. That girl needs to clean her stone! It always looks dirty in photos

My favorite is Katherine Heigl's pretty, simple pear (I think she wears it with a sapphire eternity now, too). I don't think I dislike anyone's, though I agree that Fergie's looked much better before she reset it.

My favorite is jennifer garner's harry winston eternity band engagement ring from ben affleck - it's so blingy and beautiful! I'm not sure who's is my least favorite, although there are many many celebrity erings I think are way too over the top, even if they have the money to afford it.

It's not an engagement ring but IMHO the quintessential and original celeb ring is Liz's 33-ct Krupp diamond.
Harry Winston sold it to Richard Burton for $305,000 in 1968.
I'm curious what it will sell for when it is auctioned off at Christie's.

She wore it so well.

I'm not familiar with what rings or other jewelry celebrities have but I have liked most of what I see when I run across pictures. I don't like Fergie's though. The one thing I don't get is why celebrities all seem to have HUGE diamonds. Why? Just because they can afford them? Some of them just look silly too me, they're so big.

I will say that an emerald cut is the most tasteful for really large stones. But I think Kim K's is ridiculous. You just can't buy class.

I'm not fond of the super huge trend in celebrity rings. It seems gauche to me. Classless rather than classy.

My favorite is still Sarah Michelle Geller's Cathy Waterman set. It's unusual and romantic. I would definitely choose this for myself.

I also like Catherine Zeta Jones' east/west marquis paired with those delicate diamond bands.

I like Katherine Heigl's pear shape halo with her two bands, one diamond and one sapphire.

Kate Beckinsale's stacked set is lovely. And completely do-able in an ordinary person sense.

I like Reese Witherspoon's new set with the 3 thin diamond bands. Looks like she has one in WG, YG, and RG each.

Angie Harmon's set is simply stunning. Not my personal style, but fabulous.

My least favorite is probably Fergie's. Just . . . why? I'm I the only one who thinks it's ugly? Nope! I see I'm not!

No one has mentioned Jennifer Aniston's? That still holds the title of worst ring for me. The setting was hideous and didn't flatter the center stone at all, and it looked really goofy with a wedding ring. JMHO
