Hi Ladies,

I want this dress for my bridemaids but I am undecided about the color. I tried taking a vote from my bridal party but the decisions are split! The wedding is in late June. The colors in the restaurant are white, soft yellow, grey, and tiny bit of green. My dress is light ivory and my flowers will be whites and off whites. The bridemaids flowers will be whites, offwhites and yellows.

Thanks!!

First one is silver.

I''m voting for soft green. I think it''s the only one that will go with ALL the colors in the room (I''d be concerned about the gold against the grey in the room, and the silver against the yellow).

Of course... all three are gorgeous. I don''t think you will go wrong with any of them!

ILTW, my vote''s for the silver. I think it''s a pretty colour that doesn''t compete with your venue and I also think it''s a nice contrast with your BM''s bouquets. Although I really like the yellow the pictures you''ve posted of Auberge show a lot of yellow glow/light and I think the yellow dress against that background might get lost. I haven''t actually eaten there so I could be totally wrong though. I like the green, but not as much as the silver or the yellow.

By the way, love the dress

I like the green.

I feel like the yellow is too much yellow and the silver is too cold of a color against the warmth of the room.

another vote for green

Silver or the pale green.

If the wedding is at night I might go with the silver. Early afternoon/evening, then the green.

ETA: I really like the way the silver looks with the white walls.

Soft green, hands down.

I''d vote for the silver.

thanks for the help ladies - going to throw a 4th option out there... it''s called Oyster.

No fair adding in a 4th option

I actually like the 4th option the best now!

Hi meresal - thanks for the input. The ceremony is at 4pm and the reception starting at 6. Ceremony will be in the outdoor patio seen in this picture, and the reception inside (other picture).

tehee.. too many options! damn it all!!!

honestly i feel like the sage green has been done to death and it''s not particularly modern looking, whereas teh dress style itself is

i LOVE color so i have to vote for the yellow! (even if i''m alone on this!) and then for the silver

My vote is for silver. It doesn''t blend in too much or stick out too much.

I still like soft green better. I feel oyster might blend in a bit too much, with the colours of the restaurant, flowers and your dress.

My favourite colour for that dress is yellow but would worry it would blend too much with the decor. My second favourite is the soft green.

I really like the silver!

Have any of them tried this dress on yet? This was one of my top choices for dresses and it didn''t look good on any of my girls. I hope you like it better than I did in person. The MS bridesmaid dresses are a little different in person than how they show up on the computer. BTW...my vote is for the oyster...it is fantastic in person. My girls decided on a long style in the fig.

I''d go with the silver. Personally, I love that colour of yellow but I think it might blend too much. (Also I''m biased because it makes me look like Kermit the Frog. sigh...)

Another vote for silver! Yellows and greens can be tricky on a range of skin tones.

The soft green is such a pretty color! Lovely dresses, too.

I vote oyster followed by yellow.

oyster!

No they haven''t tried it on yet - there is only 1 store in eastern Canada that carries them. We are going to try them on next week.... I''m sad the fit is poor. Bogus.

Its weird...I acutally tried it on myself and I really wanted to like it, you know! The good thing is...we walked out with a dress that everyone likes. Seriously, there are so many options there that if this isn''t the one there will be another. I just wanted to warn you. Its possible that the sample we had was bad but from the front, it looked awesome from the side it looked like a bag. So...lets hope it was the sample we had. The material on the dresses are top notch! Please report back on what you find!!! I hope it works out.

This dress is on my short list too! ILTW, please report back. Fortunately, there are a few other styles I really like. Hopefully, something works out for both of us.

Green! I''m a little biased since it''s my color, and who cares if it''s overdone...it''s your wedding, so do what you want!
