Trying to finalize the center stone to put in my three-stone with pear sides. Would like to keep the total price to $10k. Leaning toward the platinum Grace setting (http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/three-stone/grace-3-stone-pears-platinum-5557p) so that will set me back about $2.2k, leaving me approximately $7.8k for the stone. With that budget, thinking I can get a RB in about the 1.2ct range.

Wants:
- Around 1.2ct mark
- Excellent/ideal cut
- G to I color. Notice the faint tint in some J color stones.
- Eye-clean. Not interested in paying premium for high clarity. An eye-clean S1 or S2 is ideal.

Any opinions on the following blue fluor stones?
1.247ct, H color, SI2 ($6.7k): http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/1.247-h-si2-round-diamond-ags-bl-104064814008
1.164ct, I color, SI1 ($7.2k): http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/1.164-i-si1-round-diamond-ags-bl-104064812011
1.216 ct, I color, SI1 ($7.7k): http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/1.216-i-si1-round-diamond-ags-bl-104064812026
1.211 H color, SI1 ($8.3k): http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/diamonds/diamond-details/1.211-h-si1-round-diamond-ags-bl-104064812016

I have only one concern. Will an I color stone be noticeably tinted in comparison to the .2ct pear sides in color F/G?

I have a BGD Signature I color, and it faces up totally white. From the side, it may look tinted compared to your side stones.

The first one doesn't look eye clean.
The 2nd one has a dead link.
The 3rd one might be eye clean by BGD's definition, but I think that crystal in the center might be visible if you look at it closely.
The 4th one is nice, and looks like a winner except it's slightly over-budget.

The best choice looks like #4 if you can swing it.

Fixed the second link. Thinking option #2 or #4 are my best bet. #1 certainly does not appear eye clean and I did spot the blemish on #3. Granted, it is magnified.

The 1.164 has Very Strong Blue Fluorescence and isn't at all cloudy in the picture, which is pretty cool and rare. The 1.21 is just Strong. Not sure if that's a priority for you.

The 1.164 makes a very strong case at $1100 cheaper. I'd put it on hold for sure.

Any amount of fluorescence is attractive to me. Both in the sense the price is slightly lower and it is a unique characteristic that many others will never know about, let alone see in person.

I am all about being slightly "unique". A three stone with pear sides is just that. It's timeless and elegant, but not often a favorite for the young crowd.

Another vote for #4!

Same here, #4

I have already sent an email to Katie at BGD to put #2 and #4 on hold.
