Thank you!

need pictures, the numbers tell you very little other than where to start.

You need pics for fancy cuts. Is there a reason you chose BN?

But all of them have good solid numbers.

I like the spread for carat of number one the best... it''s about the same as the spread of number two and two is .2 carats heavier. Number two is my second pick because of its spread... it has a better ratio than one as well but... its two thousand more... and for me... the ratio difference wouldn''t be worth 2K.

But you either need to buy them all, ship them to you and return the NOs... or get pictures.

As storm said... numbers are the start of the journey. Good luck.

Thank you.
Do you have any idea what the culet should be for asscher cuts?
Is slightly large culets a problem?

In a modern style yea it can be a problem for the reason that a cutter is cutting a bunch of them that are less than steller on every one that has been brought in.
There are some antique ones where it would be perfectly normal and ok.

Strmrdr, Gypsy et. all,

I have narrowed it down to these 2. Sorry still no pictures (I spoke to BN and they helped me narrow it down to these 2).
My main question is

Is it worth paying the $2,500 difference for the excellent symmetry and excellent polish for the second diamond?
All the other specifications are similar (listed below)

2) The second

How to answer that question....

IF they looked the same in person in terms of the cut quality. In other words... if they were both bright beautiful asschers -- then no.

But since this is sight unseen-- I would feel more comfortable with the excellent symmtery than the very good. Just the symmetry would be the concern for me that would justify the price difference. The polish difference wouldn''t.

from the info given both could be kicken both could be dogs or one and one... there is no way to tell without pictures.
