The setting is too wide on the first ring to sit easily on your finger in my opinion. It's really pretty but I think that may be causing your hesitation. You could have the setting redone if you favor the diamonds more!

They're both beautiful but call me crazy but the stones on the smaller one looks as big as the bigger one to me, if not bigger. I think its because it fits your hand better, whereas the bigger one just looks a little awkward. Smaller one wins for me. (Did I just say that?)

I like the design of the smaller one better, looks a bit more modern... and I like that the diamonds are smaller, with 5 stone rings I tend to prefer the diamonds to be a bit smaller, it tends to look like it doesn't fit otherwise, just IMO.

Thank you for all the votes and comments. I have retired the larger ring to my jewelry box to await its next home... And I've been happily wearing the smaller one. With more contentment than before, I must add.
