Where to sell an engaged ring?

Have an engaged ring, which is not needed anymore. Can some one recommends an on-line place to sell it please? Thanks...

In my opinion, you're better off selling the diamond locally through the classifieds, or through a jeweler on consignment.

A good appraisal will go a long way towards helping you sell it.

On-line selling is much riskier (in general), and you usually get less because of the intense competition.

Definitely start with a current appraisal. Also, any original Cert papers you have will be a great addition as well.

You can try local jewelry consignment, high end auctions in your area, the classifieds, eBay (folks tend to look for deals there tho), and there are some Internet consignments.

Good Old Gold offers Net consignments. You might give them a call and see what they have to offer.
