where to get mineral specimen qualities cut/polished in nyc?

Hi I live in NYC and I love gemstones and crystals. I use them for spiritual purposes. I actually have a nifty lil area in a park where I find a bunch of huge (1-5Lbs.+) different types of quartz crystals. Needless to say I now have enough to sell. I want to leave a few as rough peices but maybe id like for 12 to be polished and maybe cut ( not for clarity or gem quality , just to improve appearance). Does anyone know any cutters in nyc who will do this for me very inexepensive?

I doubt you will find anyone locally for such a service. You might ask at Evolution on Spring st where they have their stuff polished. You may do better getting yourself a pock polisher and learning to do it for yourself.

It is illegal to take any stones out of the parks in NYC.
