Hey all!
Some of you probably know the story but in short, my husband lost his wedding ring, we are not putting a claim in for it since our rates might go up if we do (rider on our home policy).
While we are not in a rush to replace it, I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions on where to look online for a replacement. We are open to pre-loved, I've been looking at Etsy, Ruby Lane, some EBay. It just seems a real challenge to find a man's wedding band with good quality diamonds (lots of I1 and 2's out there) and of course DH likes presence since he is not a small guy. His ring had five diamonds totaling a carat. This year we are really working on paying off our debt but I'm thinking a budget of $1,000 for pre-loved maybe a bit more for something new that he really loves.
I suggested that he could take my original diamond from my e-ring (upgraded for 10th anniversary) and use that for a new ring for himself. He was open to that, I just have no idea what that would involve, it's a princess cut just under 3/4 carat and if it would make sense financially.
TIA!
