First-time poster, long-time lurker here. I have read about so many Better-than-Ideal cutters of round brilliant stones such as 8* and Hearts on Fire just to name a few. To be honest, some of these pictures I''ve seen have started to sway me toward round as opposed to princess cut. However, I''m still a fan of the princess cut diamond and so is my girlfriend.

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a cutter who can cut better-than-ideal (or better-than-very-good as the case may be) princess diamonds? I''m looking for a diamond 1.0-1.2 carats, at least F in colour, and at least VS2 in clarity.

Thanks for the links...these diamonds are absolutely beautiful!!! Now I know that the AGS0 specs for the most ideal princess cuts are very new (if they''re even finalized yet...I don''t know). Are there others that cut AGS0 princess diamonds or are they few and far between at the moment?

There must be others cutting or trying to cut these.

However, at the Vegas-show of last week, I found only one company claiming that they cut AGS-0 princess-cuts. We visited them posing as a retailer.

They claimed that they were the very first and only company cutting these right now. To my disappointment however

, they could not show me a real grading report of an AGS-0.
