Which size, color and price are you looking for ?

I am looking for a natural blue-green aquamarine. Around 2-3cts.
And I am not sure what the prices are for aquamarines, so not sure what to expect.

About the same sized sapphire. Hot pink.

The aquamarine shoudn''t be too expensive, veryn inexpensive compared to the pink sapphire.

What are you meaning by hot pink ? If you want a perfectly clean and saturated bublegum like pink, this will be seriously expensive (over $1500/Ct), while with a slightly off color (meaning a bit pastel) the price is going down very very fast and you may go on with a fine pink sapphire at below $1000 for the whole.

What is your budget ?

My budget is around $500 + the setting for the ring.
I think I will stick with an aquamarine. Thank you for all your help.

You may get a very nice aquamarine as well as a very nice pastel pink sapphire for that amount... now just look around, ask the dealers what they have and choose... take time to buy, it''s not easy to understand how to value a gem.
