Where to buy small (3mm) pairs of CS?

I'm looking for sidestones for a new project -- ideally 3mm rounds in a teal/blue/peacocky shade (I'm flexible on the colour, really -- blue with some green or green with some blue).

Actual stone isn't important -- I'd love diamonds, but they're too expensive for this project and the HPHT ones I've seen just seem TOO fakey blue. Spinel would be my next choice, and then there's blue topaz, tourmaline, and even zircon or apatite (not my first choice, but this is for a "fun" ring, so wouldn't be too torn up about having to replace abraded sidestones every few years).

I've tried http://www.gemselect.com, but they don't have anything small enough. Any ideas for where I can find small matched pairs?

I'm looking for a colour that falls somewhere in this family:

Anyone else? ;)

HI

Have you tried africa gems? http://www.africagems.com/shop-gemstones.html
Or multicolour gems? http://www.multicolour.com/wizard/color_search.html

I did a search on blue green 3-4mm round and a few popped up

Not sure if you are interested in colour change

Aquamarines, but they look more blue than teal

these are a bit big for what you want but maybe the right colour?

It might be worth contacting Dana at mastercut gems to see if he has anything close to what you want.

I too was going to recommend Africagems. Be sure to read the color descriptions of all the different levels for each stone and don't just go by the picture, which is only sometimes accurate.

Thanks for those suggestions -- off to have a look!

I assumed finding small pairs of stones would be simple, but oh boy, it isn't! :loopy:

Apatite has the right colors for the prices.
